Dr. Bhonsle is College Professor and Supervisor for NVH Laboratory at
Lawrence Technological University (LTU)
since 2003.He initiated the effort towards establishing NVH Laboratory and
use of MATLAB software in Numerical Methods for Engineers course and is
actively leading this initiative.
Prior to joining LTU, he has taught in the department of Mechanical
Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Michigan
Technological University for 27 years teaching undergraduate and graduate
students. During his tenure at Mich. Tech he carried out research in
Experimental Stress Analysis, Manufacturing, and Finite Element Methods.
He has published multiple research papers in engineering journals and
was active in ASME including Student Advisor for three year period.
He has published text books in
the area of Design (TK integrated), Numerical Methods for Engineers
including Finite Element Method (MATLAB integrated), Photo elasticity, and
Mechanics/Vibration Testing.
He has also taught in the Department of Mechanical Engineering as Visiting
Professor at Valparaiso University,
teaching undergraduate students for six years. During his tenure at VU he was
in charge of Vibration and Experimental Laboratory.
During his academic tenure He advised graduate students in the area of
Mechanics and mechanical engineering.
He has worked as chief consultant
for 13 years working on projects such as design of forging plants, heat
treatment plants, sugar machinery plants and civil engineering structures.
He was on the various boards as board
member of the state government departments.
He is presently working as Mentor & Director of International affairs
for Vidya Pratishthan Education Foundation, Baramati. |
