Performance and exhaust emission analysis by Jatropha & Karanja biodisale being done by our Prof. Chitrgar on our test rig using 1) diesel, 2) bio-diesel Jetropha bio-diesel Karanja. The results have shown that 20% mixing of Jetropha with blended Diesel gives the best performance amongst other combinations. Few graphs shown here. This project is research cum BE project. |

Maynard provides tools, training, and guidance to industries to help them improve workforce performance and eliminate waste. We do undertake training for MOST technique in collaboration with Mr. Ashok Badve who has patented a software to be used for the line balancing and elimination of waste. This technique is to improve productivity with human touch. We have trained at VPCOE 160 workforce of 20 different industries. VPCOE signing an MOU with Maynards USA and LEAN Manufacturing MOST WAY, INDIA on 9th of May 2007 to act as training school for MOST techniques in India and neighboring countries. The companies we have trained till date: Cable Corporation of India, Kalyani Brakes Ltd., Greaves, Mahindra & Mahindra, Spicer India Ltd., Gabriel India Ltd., Kirloskar Oil Engines, Bharat Gears Ltd., Simens Ltd., Legrand India Ltd. etc. |

The department of Computer engineering & Information Technology of VPCOE has organised "National Conference on Artificial Intelligence" (NCAI-2007) on 1st & 2nd June 2007. NCAI- 2007 provides a forum for faculty members, academics , research scholar & industry personnel through the exchange of knowledge.
AI is the science & engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs & system capable of sensing the world around it,understanding conversations learning, reasoning and reaching to decisions.
NCAI-2007 aims to bring together the specialists & experts from industries, research institutes, government agencies & academics to provide a forum for the free & fruitful exchange of ideas & also to foresee the future trends in research & development in AI. The conference will amke participants to learn the different aplications of AI & how the techniques can help in their own field. |
